Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the period drama series "Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Also, Kellie is well-known for her role as the lead for her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin, the daughter of a department-store seller and a kindergarten teacher started her career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt, who was a nanny to Michael Landon's children assisted Martin land a role in 1981's series "Father Murphy". After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more serious. Her roles were significant on TV as well as the big screen. Martin, in addition to being an excellent actor and dancer, she is also an accomplished ballet photographer. She is a mother of two. Martin is the spokesperson for the nation for Lupus and has been frequently spreading awareness regarding the disease after her sister passed away from it at the age of 19.
