Anita Briem has been an actress in Iceland for over 20 years. Anita is best known as the actress who was Jane Seymour in the TV show The Tudors. Briem began her professional career as an actor at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. As a youngster, she was involved in numerous radio and television programs, plays, as well as other performances in Iceland. Briem became a child actor aged 16 when she moved to London. She participated in the production of Lenin as part of Love by the New End Theater. At 19 years of age, Briem was accepted at the famous Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, which she attended over the next three years. There she received a diploma in drama and an award called the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight.
